The Second Annual Rat Beach Bike Tour will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011. Last years 2010 event had 465 very dedicated riders riding a Metric Century (62 miles), Metric Half Century (31 Miles) and a Metric Quarter Century (15.5 miles)—three great rides to choose from, starting from the cliffs overlooking Torrance Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
This year’s 2011 event promises to be even larger with more interesting routes through the beautiful South Bay. Your entry fee will help support Pediatric Therapy Network, The Scott Newman Center, plus the many other charities supported by the South Bay Sunrise Rotary Club.
Your entry fee includes
- a RAT Beach T-Shirt
- a RAT Beach Hat
- SAG stop refreshments
- roving bike support
- lunch served by In-n-Out Burger
- plus the sun, beach and ocean.
What could be better?
We will ride rain or shine, but when does it ever rain at the beach? This is a bike ride, not a bike race and bike helmets are required. You will not be allowed on course without your helmet.
